David J. Moorhead is an associate and member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group who focuses on litigation and counseling.
David has experience in litigation involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets and unfair competition in both federal and state courts. His trademark practice involves prosecution, enforcement and infringement litigation both in federal court and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. David also handles both domestic and international domain name disputes. In addition, he assists clients with designing promotions in compliance with applicable regulations and statutes.
In General. David graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 2003, and from Boston College in 1998 with majors in history and philosophy. Prior to attending law school, he served as an aide to former U.S. Senator Peter G. Fitzgerald in Washington, D.C. David is an active volunteer with Misericordia in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood and serves on the Junior Board of Mercy Home for Boys and Girls. |
