David has more than 23 years experience in the various engineering fields. Prior to joining Medcam David was an Opto-Mechanical Engineer for Dot On, Inc., a company developing peripheral products for the consumer market. Earlier David was a Physicist at Ioptics Inc. At Ioptics David was responsible for the design and fabrication of optical components for optical storage devices. From 1997 to 1998 David was a Senior Research Engineer for Advanced Marine Technology designing advanced optical marine navigation devices. From 1996 to 1997 he was a Senior Research Engineer for Microvision Inc. There he was responsible for the inception, invention and design of technology to implement Virtual Retinal Displays (VRD). From 1993 to1996 David was a Research Engineer at the University of Washington's Human Interface Technology Lab. There he was responsible for the inception, invention, design and fabrication of technology to implement Virtual Retinal Displays. From 1981 to 1993 he was a support Engineer in the College of Engineering at California State University, Fresno. There David managed other support engineers and provided engineering support to the Engineering College and students. From 1976 to 1981 he was an Electronics Engineer with Dantel Inc. There he managed an engineering group and designed and debugged electronic assemblies for the communication industry. He received his Bachelors degree in Physics from California State University, Fresno. |
