Health Care/Hospital
Worked on an in-court $1.5 billion bankrupt non-profit hospital system. Led the Chapter 11 preparations including first day motions and communications created and supervised the short (TWCF) and long term (business plan) projections prepared monthly financial and operational analysis for the board of directors supervised the analysis and due diligence in order to select a $350 million Debtor in Possession (DIP) financing agreement liaison between the company and the creditors for financial and operational requests and analyzed divestiture options for the systems various hospitals and nursing homes. Managed up to four team members.
Health Care/Not-for-Profit
Produced a weekly cash flow plan of reorganization and sales book for the sale of 11 nursing home facilities. Advised management in identifying almost $10 million of annual savings by reducing head count and non-salary cost reductions which resulted in over $100 million in additional value allowing the unsecured creditors to exit the case with 100% of their claim plus interest and the debtor to continue operations with over $30 million in cash.
$200 Million Debt Recapitalization
Analyzed all 120 plus nursing facilities in order to project profitability and restructure operations. This analysis reduced the company's exposure and prevented one of the portfolio companies from filing Chapter 11.
International Real Estate Partnership
Supervised construction and liquidation of portfolio of over 50 residential and commercial properties. Worked on daily cash management financial modeling and scenario analysis. Responsible for analysis of inter-company accounts in a multi-debtor case to prepare for trial to recover co-mingled funds across multiples businesses and countries.
Telecom Corporation
Client in Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Responsible for 13-week cash flow assisting with sales process due diligence and estate wind-down and allocation of funds across a multi-debtor corporation.
