David Loury, Ph.D. joined Pharmacyclics as Vice President, Preclinical Sciences in May 2006 with 20 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. Most recently Dr. Loury served at Celera Genomics as Senior Director of Toxicology from April 2003 to April 2006. Prior to that, Dr Loury directed Drug Disposition, and Toxicology at Essential Therapeutics and IntraBiotics Pharmaceuticals from January 1996 to May 2001. Dr. Loury has held positions of increasing responsibility in Preclinical Safety at Syntex Corporation and Roche Pharmaceuticals. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology. Dr. Loury received a B.S. degree in Environmental Toxicology and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of California, Davis.
