David Lane leads the Western region of the PPI business which covers Ireland and the UK. He has full responsibility for the regions P&L including sales client relationship management and supporting functions.
David joined the business in December 2000 as General Manager of the Irish branch. He has a range of experience in insurance and finance in the Irish Market. Prior to joining Genworth he spent five years with Transamerica Insurance Finance Co (Europe) setting up and running the Irish branch. During this time he also had responsibilities for corporate and strategic planning in the UK and Europe.
David also spent five years with IIB Finance (previously Irish Life Finance Group). He joined IIB after completing a graduate training programme with Coyle Hamilton Limited.
David was educated at Clongowes Wood College and University College Dublin where he graduated with a Batchelor of Commerce degree in 1988. He lives in Dublin with his wife Noelita and has a son and a daughter. |
