David Kranz oversees Curl, Inc.'s development organization and drives the foundational technologies of the Curl platform. Kranz is a respected authority on computer languages, compilers, and the World Wide Web. Previously, Kranz was a principal research scientist at MIT for over 10 years where he was a leader in parallel computing technology. He then applied his experience to the World Wide Web and became a founder of the technology and language we now know as the Curl Runtime Environment. Kranz is named as an inventor on many issued and pending patents on the Curl technology. David holds a B.A. in Mathematics and Physics from Swarthmore College. He then went on to earn a M.S. and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Yale University. |
