Mr. Korz has over 25 years of software development, product definition, and project and team management experience in the technology industry. He leads product management, development, and QA teams in the areas of product requirements, specifications, implementation, and testing for ESP. Prior to joining ESP, Mr Korz was VP of Engineering and Chief Technical Officer for Luminate Software, a venture funded company developing application management products for SAP R/3, Oracle, Windows and UNIX systems. He hired and directed the development, QA, and support teams for each of the company’s primary offerings, a distributed, 3tier SAP R/3 monitoring application and an Internet hosted remote applications and systems monitoring service. Mr. Korz was the lead architect for both projects and worked closely with product management and marketing to define and deliver the products. After Luminate’s acquisition by EMC Corporation he was a Senior Software Engineering Director designing storage management software and common architecture components. Mr. Korz was most recently Chief Software Architect at Network General, where he led the development of the next generation product architecture. Before joining Luminate in 1996, Mr. Korz held various technical management positions at Boole & Babbage and Applied Data Research, developing products for computer system performance management, analysis and automation. Mr. Korz has a B.S. in Computer Science from Columbia University and an MBA from San Jose State University. |
