David Knaack has served as Vice President of Product Development at ORTHOCON since 2006. Before joining ORTHOCON, David was Senior Director of Research and Development at Osteotech. He has more than 15 years of experience in product development, creating novel biomaterials for medical devices, drug delivery, and tissue engineering for several start-up biotechnology companies. David is a registered patent agent and is listed as an inventor on five patents. His strategic intellectual property development experience ranges from growth factor delivery to polymer-tissue composites and clonally derived cell lines. The author of several publications, David holds a BS in Chemistry from St. Lawrence University and a PhD in Neurochemistry from Cornell University, and has completed postdoctoral work in Molecular Biology at Harvard Medical School. |
