Dr. Kay, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery, is a Managing Director of the Crystal Clinic, one of the most active orthopedic surgical centers in the country. He is also an attending staff Orthopedic surgeon at Akron General Medical Center, Akron City Hospital, St. Thomas Medical Center, and Children’s Hospital Medical Center of Akron. Dr. Kay is licensed in both Ohio and California. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1980 from The Medical College of Ohio in Toledo and completed his internship there as well. He completed a residency at Akron General Medical Center and a Fellowship at the Wagner Institute at the University of Southern California. Dr. Kay has attended over 80 conferences, given numerous presentations and has been published in several journals including Foot and Ankle International and Transactions on Biomedical Engineering. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, North American Foot and Ankle Association, and American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society.
