The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of JNET, has more than 30 years of experience in a wide range of operating and management roles at AT&T and Comcast. Most recently, Jefferson served as Executive Vice President of Business Services for AT&T Broadband, a high growth business unit providing network and high-speed data connectivity to small and medium sized businesses. Jefferson’s management experience has provided him with a deep understanding of provisioning and purchasing the services that JNET offers. For example, Jefferson served as Vice President Consumer Operations at AT&T where he was responsible for managing customer care and directing installation services for more than 85 million customers, representing revenues in excess of $25 billion of revenue.
Through his industry affiliations, Jefferson has established strong personal and business relationships with the senior leadership teams at major telecom and cable companies, including AT&T, Verizon, Cox Communications, Time Warner and MCI-WorldCom that will be leveraged to broaden the customer base of JNET. Further, Jefferson’s civic and community activities, including his role as Senior Pastor, Metropolitan Baptist Church (6,000 congregation) and his participation in the National Urban League, NAACP and other major community-based organizations, provide him access to potential government and corporate clients. |
