David Engstrom is a partner with Unisys Federal Systems with responsibility for Department of Defense (DoD)/Intelligence activities, based in Reston, Va.
David joins Unisys from EDS U.S. Government Solutions, where he was responsible for business supporting the DoD Pentagon renovation, Department of the Army, the Army Corps of Engineers and the National Guard. In that capacity, he oversaw existing contracts, business development for new engagements and strategic business directions for those clients. He brings more than 26 years of leadership and management experience from EDS and the U.S. Army. His experience includes management of current technology information systems, systems architecture and engineering. He also has extensive experience in business process improvement and information technology life cycle management.
David retired from the U.S. Army in 1994. His prior assignments in the Pentagon included supporting the assistant chief of staff for installation management. Other assignments included computer systems officer for the U.S. Army Decision Systems Management Agency and faculty and staff positions with the United States Military Academy as an instructor and department computer systems coordinator. |
