David attended the Medical College of Georgia and completed Internal Medicine training at Georgetown University Medical Center in 1995. Dr. Duncan was the Chief Medical Resident at Inova Fairfax Hospital in 1995-96.
Dr. Duncan was the first internal medicine hospitalist at Inova Fairfax Hospital and was the Associate Program Director for Georgetown University’s Internal Medicine residency from 1997-2003. He has been the Medical Director of the Hospitalist Division until July 2006 and is now the full-time Physician Advisor for Case Management and Utilization Review. Dr. Duncan is also the Chairman of the peer review committee for internal medicine at Fairfax Hospital. Over the past few years, he has developed interests in healthcare policy and access to insurance. |
