Mr. Churbuck, a thought leader regarding best practices for leveraging knowledge management and new media strategies targeting b2b and b2c segments, has joined the Celera Partners advisory board to further augment the depth and breadth of the Celera VBS Solutions Group. David’s insights and deep subject matter expertise leveraging knowledge management throughout the enterprise network (internally and externally) compliments the firm’s VBS go-to-market solutions. David Churbuck is vice-president and general manager of online operations at CXO Media, publisher of CIO, CSO and CMO magazines. Churbuck is a prize-winning journalist and author with more than twenty-five years of experience covering technology, especially the rise of online communities and the Internet in the early 1990s. Formerly the senior editor of technology and communications at Forbes Magazine, Churbuck formed Forbes Digital Media in 1994 and developed the publishing company’s interactive media strategy, culminating with the launch of Forbes.com, one of the top business journalism web sites in the world. In 2000 he joined McKinsey & Company, where he developed and managed the knowledge management and new media strategy for the global management strategy consulting firm. Churbuck helped build a pan-firm taxonomy, content management, and multi-media delivery distribution channel for the firm’s most valuable knowledge to internal and external audiences. From 2002 to October, 2003, Churbuck was the managing director of 21i.net Private Wealth Partners, a Swiss-based association of European and American wealth management firms. He consults to a variety of clients on interactive content strategies, wealth management, and technology start-up strategies. A graduate of Yale, he is the author of the Book of Rowing, and sculls competitively in masters-level events. He is married, with three children, and lives on Cape Cod. |
