David Cairns is a major shareholder and executive Chairman of PrismTech's Board of Directors. He has held top management positions with telecommunications, computer hardware & software and venture capital companies in the USA, Canada, the UK, Netherlands & Germany and led Marcam's and Baan's IPO's on the NASDAQ and Amsterdam stock exchanges. He also supported the IPO of PSA AG in Germany. His experience ranges from founding start ups to holding senior management, officer & board positions with public multi-national technology companies. He also has substantial international M&A and private investment experience. From early 2003 until late 2005 he was CEO of G-Log a private global supply chain software company based in Philadelphia where he built and led a strong management team that doubled the revenues of this circa 200 person business while turning the Company to profitability. He successfully negotiated the sale of G-Log to Oracle Corporation in 2005.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has a Master's degree in Business Administration (Cranfield). Holding the title of Baron of Finavon, he is also a Founder of the National Museum of Scotland and a Fellow of the Scottish Society of Antiquaries. |
