Mr. Anderson has 14 years of complex insurance claims development, valuation and negotiation experience. He has extensive experience working with Fortune 500 and smaller companies on both first-party and third-party insurance claims, including asbestos, silica, and pollution. David also has extensive experience in the bankruptcy arena, where he helps companies use their insurance assets to pay for claims so that they can work their way out of bankruptcy. David's insurance expertise encompasses a broad array of insurance claims in several industries, including manufacturing, defense, aircraft, petrochemical and financial services.

He has personally handled environmental, asbestos, toxic tort, personal injury, employment practices, discrimination, construction, first-party property damage and business interruption claims. During his career, he has helped obtain over a billion dollars of insurance settlements for various clients. David has lectured to various professional groups on matters of insurance claim valuation, emerging insurance claims and strategic approaches to maximize claim value.

Prior to joining The Claro Group, David was Senior Counsel at Risk International, and prior to that, David practiced insurance coverage law for seven years as an attorney with the law firm of Kirkpatrick & Lockhart LLP (n/k/a K&L Gates). At K&L, David provided insurance coverage advice for clients such as Alcoa, DuPont, Mead, Merrill Lynch, PPG, Uniroyal Chemical and United Technologies. He is a Senior Advisor in our Insurance Claims Practice.

David received his BA degree in Political Science and History from Olivet Nazarene University and his Juris Doctor degree from The Ohio State University College of Law
