David Ahlquist has over 20 years of operations management, engineering management experience that includes continuous improvement, process improvement, lean enterprise, value stream mapping, manufacturing systems, business and manufacturing software systems consulting. He began his career as a manufacturing engineer and moved into operations management at Gunnard, has been an owner of Pet Stuff, manufacturing systems consultant at AMCI Computers, manufacturing engineer for Westin Automotive, and is currently a Field Specialist with Minnesota Technology, Inc.Mr. Ahlquist holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering Operations, and his Masters of Business Adminstration all from the University of Minnesota. In addition he is a certified by NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership as a Value Stream Mapping Trainer and Implementer, Lean 101 Trainer, Office Value Stream Mapping Trainer and 5S Trainer. He has received related training in quick response manufacturing, financial management for small companies, welding automation, and software selection and implementation. Mr. Ahlquist is a senior member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. |
