David W. Williams was named Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and President effective January 2, 2008. Mr. Williams served as Chief Operating Officer from April 26, 2007 until January 1, 2008. Williams joined Noble Corporation as Senior Vice President -- Business Development of Noble Drilling Services Inc. in September 2006. Williams came to Noble with over 27 years in the energy industry. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President of Diamond Offshore Drilling, Inc. Prior to that, he held the position of Senior Vice President -- Contracts and Marketing at Diamond. He serves on the board of directors of Spindletop Charities, Inc., the International Association of Drilling Contractors and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. |
