Description of Practice:
David Wensley is a partner in the Orange County office. He focuses his practice on real estate law for an array of clients including landlords and tenants, land developers and purchasers, lenders and institutional investors, asset management firms and real estate industry consultants including brokers and contractors. Skilled in contract negotiations of all types, Mr. Wensley is particularly well versed in the negotiation and documentation of leases, purchase and sale contracts and operating agreements for office, industrial and retail transactions. He has successfully completed transactions involving in excess of 6,000,000 square feet of land and buildings and his form lease documents are in use for over 10,000,000 square feet of office, industrial and retail space. In addition to his extensive real estate knowledge, Mr. Wensley counsels clients on environmental issues including landlord-tenant matters, site assessments, asbestos abatement and removal, underground tank removal, duty to disclose issues and water quality control board compliance matters.
A member of the Real Property Section of the Orange County Bar Association, Mr. Wensley also is involved in the Commercial Industrial Development Association, the International Council of Shopping Centers, the National Association of Industrial and Office Park Owners and the USC Real Estate Alumni Association.
Educational History:
Mr. Wensley is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a B.S. in business administration. He received his J.D. with honors from Hastings College of the Law, University of California. |
