Mr. Cellitti's practice focuses on the structuring and closing of a variety of business transactions, as well as providing legal services to the firm's business clients on a variety of legal matters pertaining to strategic planning, financing, mergers, acquisitions, compliance and day-to-day operations.
Mr. Cellitti also serves as outside general counsel to closely-held and growing businesses. He has experience representing borrowers and lenders in commercial finance transactions, including leveraged buy-out financing and asset-based loans. He also represents issuers of tax-exempt bonds, letter of credit providers, underwriters and borrowers in public finance transactions. Recent merger and acquisition related engagements involve advising a public company in connection with several strategic alliances and representing electric cooperatives in strategic asset acquisitions.
Mr. Cellitti joined Dykema in 2001. He is the member responsible for the firm's Illinois offices' recruiting efforts, and is on the firm's recruiting committee.
