David S. Wise joined Cyberonics in September 2003, as Vice President and General Counsel. He was appointed Secretary of Cyberonics in November 2003. He has over 20 years of experience in intellectual property, business development and legal affairs in private practice and in corporate practice in the medical device industry. Prior to joining Cyberonics, he was Group Vice President and General Counsel at Centerpulse USA, Inc. (formerly Sulzer Medica), a medical technology company specializing in orthopedic products recently acquired by Zimmer Holdings, Inc. from 1994 to 2003. Prior to Centerpulse, he spent 12 years in private practice focused on intellectual property and commercial litigation. |
