David Horwitch is a Member of Shaw Gussis Fishman Glantz Wolfson & Towbin LLC. His practice covers a broad spectrum of activities in the real estate area, including the representation of developers, owners, purchasers, landlords, tenants, lenders and borrowers in connection with all types of properties, including shopping centers, office buildings, industrial properties, mixed-use developments, apartment buildings, and vacant land as well as specialty projects such as restaurants. He represents these parties in the context of acquisitions and dispositions, contract negotiations and disputes, structuring and negotiating complex acquisitions, leasing, financing, land development, zoning and other matters. Mr. Horwitch's practice includes the representation of lenders in various loan programs, including the origination and subsequent securitization of numerous conduit loans. He also has experience handling all aspects of commercial litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Horwitch was a partner at Arnstein & Lehr LLP.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
Mr. Horwitch was the Founder and first President of the pre-law chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity at the University of Illinois. He subsequently served as the chapter President at the University of Illinois College of Law. Also while in law school, Mr. Horwitch taught an undergraduate course at the University of Illinois on the principles of effective public speaking.
