David Anderson is the architect of StayWell Health Management s health assessment models and the first widely used health information system to manage targeted health behavior-change interventions. He has responsibility for StayWell s systems for risk assessment, behavior change management, and health care cost impact estimation, as well as providing consulting expertise on major customer programs. Prior to StayWell, Anderson held management and consulting positions with Control Data Corporation where he played a major role in creating one of the first successful corporate health management programs. Anderson began his career as Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point. Anderson is a charter member of the board of directors of the Health Enhancement Research Organization (HERO), and serves as chair of its research committee. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of South Dakota.
