Mr. Dunn has thirteen years of transactional experience, including the last ten years in investment banking and has extensive experience working with publishing, music publishing, broadcasting, new media and wireless infrastructure companies. Prior to joining Signal Hill in May 2006, Mr. Dunn held positions including Head of Media Investment Banking at Friedman Billings Ramsey and as a Director in the Media Group at Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown and its predecessor companies. Mr. Dunn has been involved with and completed 81 transactions in North America and Europe, including 38 public, private equity and convertible issues raising in excess of $6.0 billion; 22 bank and high yield offerings raising more than $12.8 billion and 21 merger and acquisition assignments with an aggregate value in excess of $26.8 billion. Notable clients with whom Mr. Dunn has worked include: American Tower, Aurora Communications, Crosstown Songs, Crown Castle, Cumulus Media, Dex Media, Liquidity Services, Michael Jackson, Phone Directories Company, Pinnacle Holdings, Primark, SBA Communications, SpectraSite Holdings, R.H Donnelley, Sony/ATV Music Publishing LLC, ypOne Publishing, XM satellite. In addition Mr. Dunn has worked with multiple financial sponsors including, ABRY Partners, ABS Capital Partners, The Carlyle Group, Frontenac Company, Goldman Sachs Private Equity, HM Capital (Hicks, Muse), Madison Dearborn Partners and Welsh Carson. Prior to entering the field of investment banking, Mr. Dunn was an attorney at Hogan & Hartson LLP and an economist for the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Mr. Dunn holds a BA degree in economics with a minor in studio art from Bucknell University and a JD with high honors from The American University. Mr. Dunn has his Series 7, 63 and 24 and is a member of the Maryland Bar. |
