David R. Bradford has served as a Pervasive Software director since October 1995. Serving as senior vice president, general counsel of Novell, Inc. from 1985 to July 2000, Bradford helped lead the networking software company from a start-up to a multibillion-dollar corporation. Bradford now successfully assists a variety of companies through business development, consulting and fund-raising - helping one business raise $51 million in two years.A recognized leader with more than 23 years experience in the computer industry, Bradford has provided vital leadership in protecting intellectual property rights and now chairs the Business Software Alliance, the world's leading trade association for business software companies. In this role, he works closely with companies like Microsoft, Adobe, Borland, Symantec, Lotus, Autodesk, Intuit and IBM on numerous public policy issues.He chairs the advisory board of Wasatach Ventures and in 2002 accepted a position on the Advisory Board for the University of Utah Venture Capital Fund. Bradford also serves as director for several private companies. He received a bachelor's degree in political science and a JD from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
