David R. Banks (since 1985)-Mr. Banks, 70, is the retired Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Beverly Enterprises, Inc., an operator of nursing facilities and rehabilitation clinics. He joined Beverly Enterprises, Inc. as President and Chief Operating Officer in October 1979; was elected President and Chief Executive Officer in May 1989, and was elected Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer in March 1990; and served as Chairman from March 1990 until his retirement in December 2001. He was a Director of Beverly Enterprises, Inc. from September 1979 through December 2001. Mr. Banks is a director of Ralcorp Holdings. |
