David P. (Dave) Bouchard is Managing Director, International for Ryder System, Inc., a Fortune 500 global transportation and supply chain management solutions company. He is responsible for the development and leadership of Ryder's global operations in the Supply Chain Solutions business segment including sales and customer relations. Additionally, Mr. Bouchard is responsible for profitability and operating performance of Ryder operations in Mexico, Canada, Europe, Latin America and Asia.
Most recently, he was Senior Vice President of High Tech and Consumer Industries for Ryder's U.S. Supply Chain Solutions business segment. In this position he was responsible for the management, operations and growth of these vertical markets. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Bouchard served as Vice President of Ryder's Dedicated Contract Carriage segment, where he was responsible for the operations and strategic development of this $500M custom transportation operation.
Mr. Bouchard joined Ryder in 1987 and has held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility in strategic planning, operations and sales in both the Fleet Management and Supply Chain divisions of Ryder.
Prior to joining Ryder, Mr. Bouchard held various positions in management and sales at Central Transport in Boston and McLean Trucking Company in New England.
Mr. Bouchard earned his MBA from Temple University in Philadelphia and bachelor of arts degree in Humanities from Providence College.
