David has more than 25 years of corporate communications experience in roles that encompass the spectrum of investor relations and public relations disciplines. In addition to providing strategic planning support to Sharon Merrill Associates clients, David serves as the agency's principal writer. He specializes in copywriting for annual reports, investor slide show presentations, news releases, quarterly financial conference calls, technical white papers, bylined articles and business plans. Before joining Sharon Merrill Associates, David worked in a diverse series of corporate communications and government relations positions during more than 20 years with Bay State Gas Company, one of New England's largest natural gas distribution companies and currently a unit of NiSource, Inc. While at NYSE-listed Bay State Gas, he directed financial communications, media relations, government and public affairs, employee communications and community relations. Under David's stewardship, Bay State's IR and public affairs efforts earned numerous national awards. David graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in history from New York University. |
