David Guthrie joined Premiere Global as Chief Technology Officer in 2003. He is responsible for developing the strategic technology initiatives for the company via acquisitions, partnerships, licensing arrangements, and through internal research and development efforts. Prior to joining Premiere Global, Guthrie served as a partner with Fuqua Ventures where he made investments in portfolio companies, led technology based investments and served as a strategic consultant to key portfolio companies within the fund. Prior to Fuqua Ventures, he was a Senior Vice President at WebMD, a Fuqua portfolio company, where he was responsible for the technology development and deployment for content. Prior to this, Guthrie was President and Co-Founder of ISSI, a software technology consulting company, which created software applications and systems for Fortune 5000 companies and universities. He brings a keen interest and deep understanding of converging Internet, broadband and software technologies. Mr. Guthrie earned his B.S. in Business Management/Information Systems with High Honors from University of Tennessee. He lives in Atlanta with his wife and two children. |
