David L. Miller has operational responsibilities for hospitals in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. He joined CHS in 1997, bringing with him over 30 years of hospital management experience. He participated in and assisted with the conversion of the company from a privately held company to a public corporation.
Prior to joining CHS, Miller had responsibility for multiple hospitals for two different NYSE health care management companies, served as CEO of several hospitals, was the Administrator at Humana Hospital, and Executive Director at Medical Center Hospital in Huntsville. He received his bachelor's degree from Virginia Military Institute and master's in business administration from the Darden School at the University of Virginia. Miller is a diplomat in the American College of Healthcare Executives. |
