Experience: Dave joined the firm when his firm, Crutchley, Marginot & Tosi, merged with Goodman & Company. He has been in public accounting since 1977, serving in the audit practice of a large local firm in Ohio prior to joining Crutchley, Marginot & Tosi, P.C., in 1986. Dave has extensive experience in audits of service businesses and not-for-profit organizations, small business consulting including computer accounting applications, and is a generalist in the taxation of individuals, commercial businesses and not-for-profits organizations. Dave has substantial experience with audits of not-for-profit organizations under the federal guidelines, OMB A-133, and all aspects of not-for-profit operations including computer applications, corporate governance, budgeting, internal controls, and taxation. In his career he has served in the role of financial statement auditor, forensic auditor, outsourced CFO, treasurer, board member, and general business consultant. Dave has also worked extensively in other professional service businesses including law firms. He is active in church and civic groups serving in various capacities.
