David Woodruff has been employed by the Company in various capacities since 1986. He was named to his current position of General Counsel and Secretary of Energen and each of its subsidiaries in 2003. He has also served as Vice President - Corporate Development of Energen since 1995. He is a member of the Alabama and Florida Bar Associations and is a Florida certified public accountant. He serves as a member of the Vestavia Hills Board of Education and is a director of the Birmingham Metro YMCA. He serves on various committees of the Business Council of Alabama and the Birmingham Regional Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate of University of North Carolina and University of Virginia School of Law.
