David Schofield joined Skylight Systems in April 2001 bringing diversified Senior Executive experience in strategic and operational management. He has extensive experience in expanding and supporting multi-unit organizations both domestically and internationally. In his role as President and CEO of eDiets.com, David produced profitability and a positive cash flow for the first time in the company’s history. Prior to eDiets.com, he served as President and CEO of Rexall Showcase International where he developed the strategic business plan to increase global revenues from $70 million to $173 million within three years. During his tenure, he developed and launched new product lines, expanded into new global markets, created Rexall’s Internet business model, Rexall.com, and developed a world-class management team. Prior to Rexall, David was the Vice President and General Manager of Office Depot, a $10 billion retailer, where he realized a dramatic improvement in profitability and developed a new state-of-the-art retail concept called Images - quickly labeled as the market leader. Before Office Depot, he worked with PIP Printing, Inc., which had 1,200 franchise retail locations that generated close to $300 million in sales, holding the title of Senior Vice President of Domestic and International Operations. David received his MBA from Pepperdine University and his Bachelor of Science from San Diego State University. |
