Mr. Campbell has over 30 years of leadership in multiple healthcare settings. As president and CEO of Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers of NY(SVCMC), he implemented the merger of three separate catholic healthcare systems to create SVCMC-St. Vincent Hospital Manhattan, Catholic Medical Centers of Brooklyn and Queens, and Sisters of Charity Healthcare Staten Island. Prior to SVCMC, he served as president and CEO of the Detroit Medical Center in Michigan. Mr. Campbell has also held high level administrative positions at Allegheny Health Services, Pittsburgh; Henry Ford Health System, Detroit; and the University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor. He has served as a director on a number of professional, community and publicly traded boards. His contributions have been recognized most recently with the 2004 ACHE Dean Conley Article of the Year Award. |
