David H. Komansky Director since 2003 retired as chairman of the board of Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc. (Merrill Lynch) in April 2003. Mr. Komansky who became chairman of the board of Merrill Lynch in April 1997 also served as a director and chief executive officer of Merrill Lynch from December 1996 to December 2002 and as a director president and chief operating officer of Merrill Lynch from January 1995 to December 1996. In addition Mr. Komansky is a director of WPP Group plc AEA Investors LLC and Burt’s Bees Inc. |
