Dr. Crow became a member of the Board of Directors of EarthFirst in April 2003 and joined the Technical Advisory Board in April 2002. He has largely spent the last 40 years with Pratt & Whitney, a world leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines, space propulsion systems and industrial gas turbines. He began his career with the Company as an Analytical Engineer and over four decades rose to Senior Vice President of Engineering, responsible for all of Pratt & Whitney’s design, development, validation and certification of commercial, military gas turbine and rocket products, up until his retirement in April 2002. Dr. Crow is currently a Professor at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Crow holds three patents and has led and pioneered a number of advancements in commercial and industrial engine functionality and design. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Rolla, where he earned his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. After earning a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Dr. Crow returned to the University of Missouri-Rolla where he earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering.
