David is a partner in the real estate department. He focuses his practice on the representation of commercial real estate developers in acquisitions, leasing, and finance matters for office, retail, and mixed-use projects. David regularly negotiates office, retail, and industrial leases on behalf of major landlords and tenants. In addition, David handles land use issues before local governmental officials. Prior to his legal career, David served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps where he served from 1991-1997.
Representative Matters
Represented a REIT in the leasing and development of two 300,000 square foot shopping centers anchored by big box retailers.
Represents an office landlord in the negotiation of leases in a 20 building office project.
Represented a REIT in the acquisition of a Shopping Center in Mooresville, North Carolina.
Represented an office developer for the lease of a 250,000 square foot office tower to a single tenant.
Represented a REIT in large tenant leases and outparcel ground leases in a 150 acre shopping center in Mesa, Arizona.
