Dave concentrates his practice in the areas of workers’ compensation, employment litigation and asbestos litigation, with a focus on product and premises liability. He has extensive experience representing self insured and state funded employers before the Industrial Commission of Ohio and in state court proceedings. Dave is a member of the American, Ohio and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations. He was recognized by his peers in 2005 and 2006 as an Ohio Super Lawyer Rising Star in the area of workers’ compensation law. Dave serves on the Ohio State Bar Workers’ Compensation Law Committee Seminar Subcommittee and is a frequent author on varying workers’ compensation topics. In addition, he is active in the National Workers’ Compensation Defense Network, a nationwide and Canadian network of independent law firms. Dave served as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army from 1989-1992 and is a veteran of the Persian Gulf War. He joined Calfee in 2003. |
