David C. Driscoll, Jr. is Co-Chair of the Firm’s Criminal Law Practice Group and a senior member of the Family Law and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups. He is a preeminent trial lawyer with over 30 years experience in criminal defense, family law and complex civil litigation. He has conducted numerous criminal and civil jury trials and maintains an active trial practice in the district and circuit courts, including family law matters.
In 2009, Mr. Driscoll was recognized in Super Lawyers Magazine as a top attorney in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area. He currently serves as a court appointed and privately retained mediator and arbitrator for both family and civil cases. He has also served two terms as a member of the Executive Committee of the Montgomery County Bar Association and on numerous other standing and special committees including terms as Chair of the District and Circuit Court Bench Bar Committees. Additionally, he has been elected to the Board of Governors of the Maryland State Bar Association.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Driscoll served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Montgomery County, Maryland with assignments as a trial attorney for the Major Frauds and Career Criminal Prosecution Units.
For over 30 years, Mr. Driscoll has been active as the Master of Ceremonies and as a speaker at events honoring judges and other influential members of the legal community.
