Mr. David C. Dreyer is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer for AMN Healthcare Services Inc. In his role at AMN David oversees corporate finance and accounting. His responsibilities include strategic financial planning setting financial objectives to ensure profitability mergers and acquisition activities and external financial relations such as banking credit rating agency and investor relations.
David joined AMN in September 2004 from Sicor Inc. (NASDAQ: SCRI) - a manufacturer of complex pharmaceuticals with operations in the U.S. Italy Mexico Lithuania China and Switzerland acquired by Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited where he served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer. David started with Sicor in 1997 as Vice President Corporate Controller advanced to Chief Accounting Officer and then Chief Financial Officer. While at Sicor he led a comprehensive turnaround effort achieving profitability for the Company and was instrumental in negotiating the acquisition of Sicor by Teva. Prior to Sicor David served in related senior financial positions within the pharmaceutical industry including at Elan Plc Athena Neurosciences and Syntex. David started his career as a CPA with A. Andersen & Co. in San Francisco. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Golden Gate University in San Francisco and is a CPA in the state of California. |
