Description of Practice:
David Bolstad is a partner in the firm's Los Angeles office. David's business litigation practice encompasses real estate litigation, consumer class actions, copyright and licensing disputes, labor and employment litigation, and insurance coverage actions. He has represented large national and international companies (such as CompUSA, Inc., Ford Motor Company, AOL, Westfield of America, Inc., ING Clarion, JMB Realty Corporation, and Prudential Real Estate Investors) in a wide variety of cases in federal and state courts.
David's real estate litigation practice includes resolution of transactional and project issues involving complex property disputes. He represents real property owners and secured lenders in disputes relating to purchase and sale contracts, secured loan transactions, construction defects on private and public works projects, judicial and non-judicial foreclosures, receiverships, mechanic's lien claims, land use, easements and rights of way, commercial leases, and fraudulent conveyances.
Educational History:
David received his J.D., Order of the Coif, from Loyola Law School, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Journal. During law school, he also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Robert M. Takasugi in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. David received his MBA from Loyola Marymount University and his undergraduate degree from California State University, Long Beach. |
