David A. Twyver joined the Board of Directors of Airspan in May 1999. Mr. Twyver served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ensemble Communications Inc., a supplier of LMDS wireless equipment from January, 2002 to January 2004 and continues as a Board Member. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Ensemble from January, 2000 to September, 2002. From 1996 to 1997, Mr. Twyver served as Chief Executive Officer of Teledesic Corporation, a satellite telecommunications company. From 1974 to 1996, Mr. Twyver served in several management positions at Nortel Networks Limited, a leading global supplier of data and telephone network solutions and services, most recently as president of Nortel Wireless Networks from 1993 to 1996. He received his B.S. in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Saskatchewan. |
