Magers has served as chief financial officer since December 2003.
Magers joined COUNTRY in June 2003 as vice president of Property and Casualty Operations. Prior to joining COUNTRY, Magers served as vice president of finance and treasurer for the Illinois Agricultural Association®, a position he held since 1998. In that capacity, he was responsible for the treasury, cash management and risk management for COUNTRY and other Illinois Agricultural Association® affiliated companies.
Magers has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a Masters of Business Administration, both from Illinois State University, Normal. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the Illinois Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is currently working toward completion of the Certified Financial Planner professional designation. |
