Dave Mahoney spent his childhood exploring his mountainous backyard by skis, with a fishing rod, or on two wheels. At 18, his passion for climbing took him to work in Washington State as a climbing guide. Desiring sunny Colorado days, Dave returned to Winter Park to work in the local ski shop during the winter and headed to Alaska for the summers to work as a fly fishing guide. Eventually, Dave moved to Boulder to work as an independent sales rep and after a stint at a large footwear manufacturer, he was beckoned back to the outdoor industry and joined Cloudveil. Dave spends every possible moment enjoying the outdoors with his best friend and wife, Meredith, and their sidekick Rex the Wonder Dog. |
