Dave Fenton is senior vice president, general counsel and secretary. He is responsible for the company’s Legal and Government Affairs teams.
Fenton joined the company as an attorney in 1989. During his tenure, Fenton has held the roles of senior attorney (1994-1997), national human resources manager (1997-1998), director of human resources (1998-2000), senior counsel (2000-2002), associate general counsel (2002-2004), and vice president and assistant general counsel (2004-2005). He was named vice president and general counsel in 2005 and was named Secretary in 2006.
Born in Ames, Iowa, Fenton earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from Iowa State University and a juris doctorate from Baylor University. He is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals. |
