Dave joins Xynyx with twenty years of experience in assessing complex business issues and translating them into robust, computing solutions for several large organizations across a variety of industries including Food/Beverage, Broadcasting, Electronic Banking, Financial and Electric Utilities. His IT exposure ranges from mainframes to state-of-the-art, multi-tier, distributed architectures utilizing Microsoft and Sun technologies. He has modeled databases for use across enterprises and domains over the last 10 years using IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, and Sybase RDBMS in heterogeneous operating environments. In addition, Dave has hands-on technical experience in working across all layers of the applications to resolve complex business challenges. His ERP and functional skills include the SAP Architecture along with functional experience in Inventory Control, BOM, A/P, and Purchasing. Dave’s responsibilities include Database Architecture, managing software development, and systems integration for our group. His recent accomplishment includes leading a television broadcasting software development team to re-architect the product's database structures to achieve integrity, reliability, scalability and superior performance. His efforts enabled Paxson Communications, the nation's 7th largest TV network, to achieve a higher volume of transactions accurately, and in a shorter amount of time. With his re-design efforts, Paxson was able to utilize its core business products more effectively. Salespeople across the country could access critical data, accounting was able to invoice accurately and collections was able to collect from clients (agencies/advertisers) in a timely manner. Dave holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Quincy College, Quincy, Illinois. |
