Mr. Basil is a seasoned business and technology executive with over 18 years of experience in professional services, product development, marketing, business development and customer support. He has substantial experience in managing large, complex systems integration and technology deployment projects in both the public and private sectors, across multiple market segments. Mr. Basil has a broad business and technical background with a proven track record of applying technology to meet business needs and market demands. As the Vice President of Product Development & Deployment Services, Mr. Basil is responsible for system implementation services including sales enablement, systems engineering, program management, site planning, system installation, software configuration and acceptance testing. Mr. Basil is also responsible for customer support services including client relationships, problem management, issue resolution, training, documentation, configuration management and partner enablement. Prior to joining Era, Mr. Basil spent over 9 years with successful technology and services companies delivering homeland security, real-time communications and technology infrastructure management solutions. While at these companies, he served as a Vice President and critical part of the executive management teams, responsible for professional services, product development, business development, marketing and customer services. Prior to that, Mr. Basil spent over 8 years with the General Electric Company as part of the GE Capital Corporation in the areas of retail financial, commercial telecommunications and information technology solutions. While at GE, he progressively took on more responsibilities as a Director in the areas of software development, process engineering and corporate information management systems. Mr. Basil received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Siena College, Loudounville, NY, in 1990 and began his career with the General Electric Company in the GE Plastics Information Systems Program and studied corporate IT management with General Electric’s Information Management Leadership Program (IMLP). |
