Mr. Lovato, a 20 year veteran of the Software industry, is responsible for researching, creating, patenting and licensing advanced technologies for use in upcoming Smith Micro products. Prior to Allume's acquisition by Smith Micro, Mr. Lovato was Allume's Chief Technical Officer and was an Allume Systems Co-Founder and board member. Mr. Lovato has been responsible for architecting the Internet Standard StuffIt file format and it's advanced compression and encryption algorithms since 1987, and has co-authored several data compression patents. Prior to Allume, Mr. Lovato was a Senior Software Engineer at Apple Computer working on early Macintosh and Apple IIGS system software, specializing in User Interface Design. |
