Darryl's dedication and study of athletic performance enhancement has taken him across the country as well as to the former Soviet Union, Bulgaria, Australia, Canada, Japan and the Caribbean. With his plethora of knowledge and experience with world-class athletes, Darryl adds a special dimension to the Athletes' Performance team of specialists. Darryl worked with Mark Verstegen as the Director of Performance at the International Performance Institute. As a former strength and conditioning coach at the University of Arizona, Darryl successfully developed high school athletes, collegiate All-Americans, and professionals in football, basketball, baseball, track and field, and tennis. Darryl is a graduate of California State University Hayward and the University of Arizona. He is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, U.S.A. Weightlifting, and U.S.A. Track and Field. He is also a certified Massage Therapist. With his passion for speed, Darryl continues to speak worldwide on topics such as plyometrics, conditioning, and speed and quickness development. |
