Buzz Larsen is a partner in the Public Finance Department and supervises the activities of its tax-exempt asset origination, placement and securitization subgroup. Mr. Larsen has devoted his career to public finance as investor's counsel, underwriter's counsel and bond counsel in a virtually nationwide practice, including related federal tax, securities and state law matters. Mr. Larsen has developed a particular expertise in the securitization of individual and pooled tax-exempt assets (bonds, notes, leases and other state and local government obligations) and the issuance of synthetic tax-exempt variable rate instruments and in representing banks, bank leasing companies, non-bank finance companies, equipment vendors and their captive finance subsidiaries, computer software companies, investment banks and institutional investors in the structuring and placement of tax-exempt bond and lease financing transactions. |
