Ms. Hicks has served on the Technest Holdings' Board of Directors and as the chairperson of its audit and nominating and corporate governance committees since March 15, 2006. Since January 2002, she has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of ONI Medical Systems, Inc. Previously, from 1998 to 2001 she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Implant Sciences Corporation, an early stage company that had its initial public offering in June of 1999. Ms. Deptula-Hicks currently serves on the Board of Directors and as Chair of the Audit Committee of IMCOR Pharmaceutical Company, a public biotech company and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Rockingham County 4-H Foundation. Ms. Deptula-Hicks has over 25 years experience in financial management positions in the high technology and life sciences sectors. Ms. Deptula-Hicks received her B.S. degree in Accounting from New Hampshire College and her MBA from Rivier College brings extensive experience in finance, corporate governance and operations having served as a director of ICRP, a publicly held biotech company, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for ONI Medical systems, and having successfully led an IPO and multiple venture capital financing activities. |
